This is a tree in my neighborhood. When the sun is shining on it, it almost looks as if it were on fire. I love fall!

Oh WOW! I love fall too. We get a lot of color here in central NY state. This is a rare one as most of ours are shades of orange and yellow. I love the reds but only certain trees produce that color. This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing jrob! I think my most favorite part of fall is the smell. It's such an earthy fragrance only found after the leaves start to fall. I just wish that winter wouldn't bother to show up, I'm still sick of snow from last winter! LOL

I love the smells, too, and the clear, clear blue skies. I'm not that fond of snow either Meri, but thank you for reminding me of Ecclesiastes 3: 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. I will try to remember that when it's cold and I'm stuck inside with little rambunctious boys. :)

It's one of those things on one of those fall days that just make you sing with joy while riding along!

My daughter- in- heart is from a place that there are not discernible seasons and she is so in love with the cooler months and the changing of the colors.

I did not realize that. Some day I'd love to take a trip up the eastern U.S. mountain range as fall begins in the north and travels south painting the trees in all of this splendor.

Holy Moly! That is soooo beautiful! Folks in the south have the most beautiful plants. All that good dirt from the dust storms of the 1930's and the humidity!
