we have been invited to a Halloween party but hubby was supposed to have to work & last night he found out that he will be off so we have decided to go! Last minute ideas for a costume whew! I decided that after we got his costume all set to go that I would go as a witch. Turned out that I forgot today was spa day @ the institute how fortunate for me. This is what our spa lady did to my nails when she found out I was going to the Brian Injury Party as a witch! How neat this looks & it is called a crackle effect Yes they are my own nails & even hubby was impressed.Now I have to go make a costume lol

Beautiful. Wish I had pretty nails but I have always had terrible nails and ugly hands. Not complaining though as I am also a survivor of brain surgery and couldn't care less about my nails. Yours are perfect to go along with a witch costume and would love to see you and your husband in full costume.

I am a survivor too but I have always had long nails ever since I was a teen. They work for me & you have to do what works for you. ~hugs~

Gorgeous, I love doing my nails up and sometimes use false ones with pretty designs. I used to have my nails done every fortnight with porcelain. Nowadays I just use glue on ones. Good luck with all the costumes and have a fun night. Love Chris

Oh, have a wonderful time at the party Loralye-I am sure you will :) . Love your nails. No Halloween parties for us this weekend but my husband's last day of work-full day of work anyway-is Thursday then Friday-Halloween-he will go into work for coffee-donuts-"parting gifts" and Happy Retirement send off from his fellow workers after 38 yrs at Alcoa. Then when he gets home, we are hoping in the car and spending the weekend in Burlington VT.- just a nice get away weekend to kick off his well deserved retirement. It is going to be odd though because this is the weekend that we set the clocks back Saturday night lol.
