Lace Doily
I recently got the Classic Lace Collection from Sue Box at a very good price. I signed up for their newsletter and got an offer to buy one of the 3 design collections for 20 dollars (instead of 99).
I didn't know what to do with the lace pieces so I searched for Lidiad's projects and copied her idea. Thank you for your inspirations!
It took me 3 hours and 3 bobbins. I combined the designs in Embird to fit in 200mm*200mm hoop but I used my 200*260mm hoop because I don't have 200*200mm hoop!

Just so elegant. This lace would be great to use for icing on a fabric cake.

Just beautiful! I can't believe you made it in just 3 hours, too! You must have a workhorse of a machine. How many total stitches?.. Lidia is the "Doily Queen" , she has made so many beautiful doilies. This one is just as nice as hers like this, so she may have some competition for the 'title'.-lol- Lidia if you're listening, look how you have inspired babolucia, you should be proud !

Thank you! The actual stitching time is about 3 hours. I have the Husqvana Viking Designer Diamond Deluxe. There's 85314 stitches.

Thank you, Chris! I wish I could do more in one hooping because I do not like to piece the lace pieces together. Embroidery hoops are never big enough, are they?

Thank you, Lidia! It was your beautiful projects that made me finally want to try Sue Box's designs. I've heard wonderful things about her designs, but they are a little pricey. Also I didn't know whether I want to spend so much time on FSL designs.

Quite lovely. Aren't her designs delightful to watch stitch out! I usually like doilies in white or pale beige, but this one might be pretty in colors, too.
