Lily modeling her dress with Applique
She bumped her head at the day care, so I picked her up early today. She's going to give a doll a bath in her kitchen sink.

This dress was a plain one from Gap that I planned to embellish. Finally here's the result.
The design is from designsbyjuju. I reduced the size from 6*10 to fit a 4*4 hoop. I chose the zigzag finish as satin stitch might be too dense after being resized.

Great results to reduce an applique that much. I have Artista software and her designs always come up as grade A. I love her designs also. Kay

I used Embird to reduce the design. I figured this design is simple enough and I chose the zigzag finishing instead of the satin stitch.

It's so much fun and very rewarding. You should try. It's not that hard really. I didn't do any tiny pieces when Lily was little, but now she's 2. Her clothes are quite doable.
