thank you to Ada for posting the link to this Christmas Tree. I have seen these many years ago & had forgotten how they were made. I did embroidery designs before I sewed them together & left the one side blank of both the burgundy & green velvet. I think next time I will do half of one side & then leave the other half blank & then flip to the other side & do it reversed. So that you can see half plain & half designs instead of one side being completely blank. I hope that makes sense?

I had one of these few years back calico was the choice then. This looks very nice with the embroidered design and fabric and more than just a one color.

It reminded me of the ones I did in the past. Somewhere in my stash I have an ITH outline i made for a smaller one, which might come in handy for an upcoming Christmas fair I'll have to donate to.
