I've just sent out all of the Secret Santa emails, so everyone now knows who to make a gift for and a little bit about their likes and dislikes.
There will be a lot of head scratching going on about what to make. To help with the creative process, please post suggestions of suitable gifts here. Remember, the rule is ONE ITEM.

Get to know the Cutie you are to give a gift to by clicking on their name and reading more about them by clicking on the posts they have made. If they have not made any posts, then your job is much harder. Consider looking at the designs in the Designs tab and the comments left there to see if their user name comes up. The hardest part for me was deciding what would be a good gift for her. I wanted to make sure the gift would be special to her in fact made for her -- not just something I wanted to give.

Let's see, suggestions of gifts... tablerunner, shopping bag, clutch purse, placemat, teatowel/dishcloth to some, dishwasher drying mat, coaster/mugrug/lace doily, candlewrap(for those who might be keen on them), cushion cover, keyfob, mobile/cell phone purse, bookmark, Christmas tree ornament (for those who wished for a Christmas type of gift), mug carrying bag, sewing machine mat/cover, shoe bag for travelling, decorative toilet roll cover.... next suggestions??????

Pincushion with or without the thread catch bag (patterns at the link). It is a good idea to add non-slip backing to the bottom of the pincushion so it stays put near the machine.

Mine arrived a few hours ago.The dog barked madly at the postman at the door making it impossible to be heard or open the door so the postman could give it to me.Then my husband wanted to take it off me & open it,got it back & told him it was addressed to me not him.It is now safely put away.

I have mine made SS gift and it has been sitting on the chair for about a week, waiting to be packaged up and sent!!! I hope to do that tomorrow! I have been hiding in my sewing room, sewing and embroidering up a storm.....but I can't show you yet as it may ruin the surprise!!! Well, maybe I can show you just a few decorations....tomorrow or the next day! Oh, I can tell you I am working on an embroidered gingerbread house that will be a hostess gift for a neighborhood party we are invited to next weekend. Really hoping it will turn out!

Posting my gift tomorrow. The Pfaff had a bit of a 'coronary' the other day halfway through finishing my secret santa, but i managed to give it a good talking to and got through!

I think I am losing my mind!!! I promised to post a few pics of the embroidery I have been doing a few days ago. I had everything sitting all together, put them in the packages to be sent....and didn't even remember to take pics!!!! I will try to get the recipients to send me pics when they open them!
On a good note, I just need to put the gingerbread house together (which won't be today) and I will try very hard to remember to take pics of that so I can post it!!! Today I will finish my Christmas shopping and then, depending how I feel, I will do some baking.

Hi I am Mary Ellen from California...new to this site...just bought a Viking Topaz 50 embroidery machine a month ago...been busy with Christmas projects, emb and sewing pj pants, gymnastics outfit etc. I do not know how it get pictures connected to this site??? Soooo excited to share my projects!

Merry Christmas I have op ened my SS present which is a beautiful aqua blue coloured apron.I adore the colour & the lovely photostitch bearded Iris but the photo will have to wait because I forgot to turn the camera off after I took photos of the presents I was wrapping yesterday & the battery is dead.
