We met at church Fellowship Hall yesterday and packed the 100 boxes(50 girls & 50 boys) yesterday evening. My grand daughter had everything set up on long tables adn ea. person had a station with instructions as to how many of ea. item they were in charge of to put in ea box. What a fun time we had.Standing by me, were 2, 6 yr olds in charge of putting a Beanie Baby in ea. box. Afterward we all had a pot luck dinner. I know God had to have been in charge how else would we have gotten everything we put in those boxes in them. It was amazing how much went into them as the assembly line went from ea. person, at the end the men were putting lids on and taping them up with Duck Tape What a blessing, these were the boxes the pillowcase dresses were going in and all 100 go to an orphanage and school in Haiti.

Well done, Lillian. What a wonderful project for a group to work on. I especially love how the little ones helped out - I bet they were proud to be a part of such an endeavor. Well done! Hugs, Laura*

You are an inspiration and well organized. Is the Beanie Baby a pattern? or purchase. The dolls in store are a turn off by the size or looks mostly. I took ones I did in today and look forward to next year.

The Beanie Babies, 100 in number came from several people in church who had been collecting for yrs., never played with, just sitting on shelves to look at.

Isn't it amazing how great folks feel when they come together to help others? The little ones who recieve the boxes will be so excited to open them! I'd love to see their facial expressions when they do! Funny thing about giving and helping others is how wonderful the givers feel. May God bless all of you including the little ones in charge of the beanie babies!

http://www.pathwayoutreach.org/ You can read a little about the people who head up the Haitian Ministry if you gxes go to this web site. they do a lot of things and Pastor Harry Whitt is the Executive Director, he can also be googled up. . Pastor Whitt goes to Haiti several times a yr. and is there with some of the groups when they open the boxes so we do get to actually see some of them opening the boxes.
