Urban Threads my favourite embroidery website has a offer on for the next few weeks. If you spend $10 a week for the next 7 weeks they will give you a free Santa design for each of the $10 you spend per week. Generally I love UT designs but I have to say that the new freebie leaves me wondering just where I would use it.

It's a cute design for some people, I know of a few that will like it. However, to get a free Santa by spending $10 that I won't be doing it. and I do like some of their designs, but not all.

It's not to every ones liking but my son would get a kick out of this on a black stocking he has a macabre sense of fashion and humor.. I thought he would grow out of it but Oh well maybe in the next life..

I am glad to read all of your comments, I wondered if I was the only one who didn't know what this design was for or why they would use it. I really don't like it when any site tries to turn Christmas into a secular holiday about Peace and Love. Of course those are always part of it but certainly not the reason for the season..
