Now finished tent for grandchildren. The smiling stars on top was a free embroidery-design somewhere. The animals on the tent are handappliqued, what was left from a fabric I had. The embroidery on the cushions, The Loch Ness design is from Tanja Macht geschenke and the other a free design from a german blogsite. Did increese the girl 30%

So sweet! Your grandchildren are going to love it. I like the designs you used too. What type of poles are you using and are they inserted into pockets at the bottom and corners for stability? What about the top? Did you design the tent's construction or get a pattern/tutorial somewhere? I would love to make one!

I used 4 bamboo-sticks. And to hold them in place to the floor I made 4 small pockets.The top didn´t turn out perfect. Think the sticks should "meet" at the top.
