More christmas stuff. It is a tradition in Scandinavia to make such hearts from paper. I thought it must be nice in felt too and so maked some for decoration. Have not decided yet if they will be a decoration for a wreat or if I will hang two ore three together as decoration for the door.

I sewed only the outline by hand the rest is weaved.
The third heart is not stuffed yet, so you can see the inside. If you use a thicker felt, you can use it as small gift bag too.

These are lovely and the variations in the one on the right and at the bottom are great. I have to make a number of items for a Christmas fair, these would be just the thing to do!

The first on top was to try the way how I must weave the pieces together, now I can refine the design. Thank you for looking.

did you have three layers to start with or two?
by elemausi 09 Nov 2014
One folded layer in red and one in white. The roundet side is open. To try it, make only one cut and do it with paper. The cut must end where the curvy part begins and begins on the fold. Then lay the parts together as shown in the link The color which you dont see goes allways trough the loop of the color which is on top Hope this helps.
