ITH Clearview Zippered Case 8*10
The design is from moosebstitching and the size was 5*7. I resized it to fit my 8*10 hoop so it's more usable. It's going to be part of the birthday gifts for Lily's little friend Noa.
Moosebstitching has the best zippered cases I've tried. Very clever construction.
The back has a pocket and I added a flower snap.

Thank you, Chris! You always have the nicest thing to say! I realize if I don't sew for my girls now, very soon they might not want anything to do with what I sew!

LOVE her designs - this is a personal favorite. Did you put the snap in at the end - it that it poking out in the picture? I ask because I find the pocket does not always keep stuff "in" (even with stabilizer in the piece) and this might be a way to help....

Yes I put the snap in last and it is what's poking out at the zipper area in the center. I added the snap because I know the pocket wouldn't be usable especially after I enlarged the case. I would add a small piece of stabilizer at the area in the main bag where the snap is going to be. Right nowthere's only two layers of cotton fabric--not very strong. This time I realized it too late after I already closed the opening. The back pocket already has stabilizer in it, so it feelsstrong enough for the snap.
Thanks for the information. I cut a little circle of felt and stick it between the cap and the fabric (so it is hidden by the cap). I feel like it gives the snap something more to hold on to. Thanks for the great idea - may have to try with my clear views!
