Have just received a phone call from Bernina. MY MACHINE IS READY FOR COLLECTION......

We are going to collect it tomorrow. I have been told that it has all been repaired under the guarantee. I am sooooo happy and still doing the happy dance.

Wonderful news!!!! I'd offer to happy dance with you...but as I have two left feet...it would be more like the happy stomp...so I just sit this one out if it's alright!?! Have fun know you are overjoyed!

So you are in route or on your way home as I type this. Just what will be the first thing you stitch with your repaired baby back home again? It has been quite the ordeal getting it diagnosed and fixed again and hopefully this problem will never be repeated side from normal checkups. Happy dance for you getting your machine home and working again!

What machine do you have? How long did you have it? My 580 didn't enlarge or reduce but stupid me didn't realise it was machine fault(thought it had to do with the design itself) Agents changed hands so never had it looked at. in the end I had to pay to have it repaired.
The little bobbin thread cutter broke off and that wasn't replaced under guarantee. Cost me R700 for service and repair.
