Well, my machine and I have turned a corner and we are better friends. I am sure the machine realised that I was very tense after it had come back after being repaired. Sue, I am sure you will recognize your rainbow - just added a couple of clouds to make it bigger. Ben has been wanting a rainbow for ages.

The original problem was that it would not start when turned on. The part called power supply was sent from overseas. When I eventually got my machine back and went to use it the tension was all wrong. Thread splitting, breaking and birds nest. I sent an email to the technician who had repaired it and he sent me a list of things to try. I did everything that he had suggested as well (for good measure), changing the needle. This morning I made the t shirts in the picture and all seems to be well. I am going to try it again tomorrow on some other gifts and see how it goes. The thought of it having to take it back for another reason fills me with dread. Hopefully it will not be necessary. Thank you for your comments. Flowers for all.
