Snowflake search - May I please ask for help.
Searched up and down my computer - I know I have some snowflakes filed somewhere but I can not find them, not where they should be, it is not fsl - I think it was a set in redwork or plain stitch and must have been free.
If you remember a snowflake set, the file name would be great to help me search my files. The search with *snow* did not help either so I asked the searchmachine too but it does not come up the any thing usefull. Thank you in advance for you effort and time.

I have several sets labeled simply SFL, another SIG(sulky, and another GP. Maybe you have the same. Hope you find them soon.

so far have found the GP ones and that will do for the moment, thank you so much for your quick help :) I f you know the designer too, I could file away to the right place or I'll put them in the Winter section now
Couldn't find it. If I had kept a picture(jpg) and not just the digitized file, I could do an image search to find out and let you know. Maybe you also have some snowflakes from NLE (needlelittleembroidery). Also, AnnaBove calls hers SNOFLAKE.

How do you search your files? What I mean is, is there somewhere you can ask your pc where something is? I have been looking for those mustache appliques and not that I want them, can't find them. I 'thought' I had saved them when Daily Emb offered them, but where?

If you have windows: 1--You can search the whole computer by clicking on the windows icon on the bottom left of your main screen. A search bar will open and you type in a word and wait while it searches. 2- You can search a folder after opening it and typing in your search word in the top right corner box. That's my simple way, anyway! You'll see! I had pictures ready to upload but can't right here.
I sent the pictures in PM to you, toogie.
thank you both, toogie hope you can do a search for what you need now
Thanks for info- I am in the car , no not driving. Look when I get home
If you know the exact name of the file it helps weed out the ones you're not looking for.

I would first do a internet image search to see if you can find the ones you are looking for there. If you find them -- go to the site to see if they list the design "name" I have found many sites use numbers for there design names. Then all you need to do is take the number set for the designs and type them (or copy paste them) into the computer search.

If you store your designs in file folders in Windows Explorer, it is easy to accidentally "push" one file inside another one below or above. When one of my files is missing, I look at neighboring files to see if the lost is just hidden - especially if 'm not sure of the name.
