Here's what i been doing the last couple of days!!John asked me "what do you want for your birthday next month"Wellllll i was waiting ****I asked for new shelves so i could sort my thread and have more room in my sewing room .So John our friend went and bought the melamine wood for John and they cut all Friday morning and afternoon and buy 2 they were ready to install.John #2 left then and John my hubby and i worked till 9 last night and finished them(well almost)Now both walls match and i am ready to sew.Aren't i blessed??

From your former area this is great as the white lightens it all up for seeing the thread shades. That is a terrific birthday present. You mentioned John hubby John friend but it could not have happened if Peeko was not there to supervise all of you. Looking forward to seeing your next project.

WOW! I just showed Trevor your photos and he asked if this room was in a roof line - I thought it might be more a basement or lower level style room. I was explaining to him where you lived way up in the bush area of Canada and that you had snow already. We on the other hand have over 36C (96.8F) at the moment and I've got the air conditioner on. Your room looks so well organised Carolyn and having the extra shelving makes everything so neat and tidy. It's hard working in cramped conditions. Tell the two Johns they've done a fabulous job. I guess when you get snowed in, inside projects take a priority. This is wonderful idea. Do you have 2 walls left, perhaps for fabric and patterns? I have my machines in the middle of the room forming a U shape, but no where near this great. You are a lucky lady. Kay

My sweetie just peeks in my sewing room and shakes his head. He can not stand my clutter. You are lucky to have a husband who can make things. My sweetie stays in his airplane hangar all day taking his plane apart and putting it back together. I am not sure he will ever fly it again. Kay
