Hi Cute sisters, sorry I don't post much lately but I do visit to give flowers every day.

I just have a little query::::
Since we all make so many beautiful gifts for others, what is there, that you have made for others and really wish you had one for yourself?

Hugs n roses, Meganne

A wedding announcement that I made for my niece. It has the names, date, and a message that was on their invitation. Some day I'll make one for my own wedding date.

Yes towels are always nicer if they're embroidered. I have a BBF who makes me lovely towels. Come to think of it I bought some new towels when we moved here about 3 years ago, they must still be in my sewing to do cupboard. LOL!!!

OH me too on that one Sarah, I started embroidering the blocks for a machine cover years ago and still haven't made it.
I've been getting my life back Sarah. I've lost 30lb (over 13 kg) since I stopped sitting at the computer all day and night.
Today I'm just looking for ideas, in between helping Ray outside. hugs n love, me

Great news about the weight. A couple of years ago I lost 17 kgs. I found the really hard thing is keeping it off!! So good to see you here

Hi Meg - nice to see you!
I've really liked the presents I've made for all of my secret sisters over the years. I think I put more into them than most other gifts.
I may just keep the one I've made this year!

Now Miss Sue that just won't do! Teeheehee. But yes, making gifts for our Cute Sister is definitely a labour of love.
Sorry I couldn't participate in the SS swap this year, maybe next year, all being well. Hugs and love, Meg

Ahhh Meg the only thing I wish for is more time to do all I need to do. Just simply never seem to have enough of it. Must leave off sewing and Emb. today to cook for tomorrow's Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter's house. The problem is I think the older I get the slower I get LOL. Love you/Lillian

Hi Meg...good to see you...congratulations on getting back in the swing again and losing that weight...I must admit, I have put on a few since I became such an embroidery addict...perhaps I need to take your lead...I can't really say what I have made that I would like to have myself...I so enjoy making things for others and giving them away...

Hello, Meg!!

To be honest - I haven't made one yet - but, I hope to one day make myself one of your famous Embroidery Machine organizers. I am forever misplacing "important" items while I am stitching and I believe the organizer is just what my machine and I truly need!!
So good to see you here - miss you. You led me to this site many many years ago and I am so thankful!! Please continue to take good care of yourself and pop in more often - you are missed!! Hugs, Laura*

I've given some beautiful monogrammed sheets as birthday gifts, wedding gifts, and Christmas gifts, but I do I have any? Nope, but I'd like to. I also would like to have a quilt that I made. They are as slippery as butter and get away from me.

Hey Meg, long time no see 👀

I made by darling mother a watercolour quilt not long after she recovered from cancer. It was the 2nd quilt I had ever made and it turned out perfect! Loads of love went into it. I don't have a pic but I'm sure if I ask mumma nicely she will take a photo and post it up? 💓

Hope you are well Meg.....must make a trip down to mums soons and organise a ladies day together..... Xx

I have given some really wonderful quilts and don't really need them back as I know how much pleasure they bring the recipients. If I had a copy of all the quilts I have given away, our home would be like a padded chamber.

Most of the things I make are for a special person and it's personalized. So I don't want any of them. Hugs. Good to see you back again *
