About 10 days ago I posted that I had be given an old but hardly used sewing machine. After being fitted with a new foot peddle the machine is working beautifully. The plastic cover however had seen better days and was badly torn, so I have made made a new cover. I will be giving the machine to my youngest daughter Emma, who at the moment shares my old sewing machine with her sister.

Thank you Michelle. It is most unusual for us to get fabric like this. Unfortunately it frayed like mad, which kept me on my toes!!

I did the embroidery and cutting out yesterday and made the cover in about three hours.

The machine does look new. The cover you have made it is terrific I love the print the car in it reminds of me of a car my hubby got me as wedding gift he knew I loved it. A 1953 Cadillac limo. That thing had no power steering and a tank but, I loved it. I love the added embroidery designs you have here this is a gift of love. I am sure she will be happy, love with it , Laugh and sew and the apple don't fall far from the tree she will also work hard she has a great mother.
