O.K. Gals, here is my annual Christmas ladies luncheon table setting for Monday 1st December. Trevor and I have been very busy today setting up the back room. He vacuumed it all down, washed down the back deck and I squeegeed the glass! I've placed all the things I've made on their place settings but the Casserole covers I've put on the coffee table. I'll hand them out individually as they are too big for the plates. Once the food arrives it will go on the little table in the corner. My theme this year is Snowflakes and the colours are blues, silver and white. Can you see the table cloths, they have snowflakes on them. Even the Champagne flutes have snowflakes on them, I was stoked when I found them.
I've added a picture of Judy's (killiecrankie) Santa Claus and a Koala - aren't they amazing. Judy sells her beaded work and I've also got some of her Christmas decorations hanging on the silver tree. Love and blessings Chris
1. 8 Casserole covers (these took ages to make as I put batting between the layers and machine quilted them!)
2. Long table shot from end of house.
3. Long shot of table from doorway to kitchen.
4. Meganne's setting.
5. Christine's setting
6. Kaye's setting.
7. Stasia's setting.
8. Valerie's setting.
9. Patricia's setting.
10. My setting.
11. Sue's setting.
12. Santa Claus and a Koala by killiecrankie (Judy)
This year Trevor has bought all the ladies Lavender hand made soaps. Meganne has allergies to certain soaps, so she won't be getting one.
I have a white tablecloth over the two tables, then the Snowflake cloths. Each person's setting is on a navy blue placemat with a rectangular 14inch x 10 inch paper doily. Under their plates is a beautiful silver plate holder. On their plates are the tea towel with snowflakes, a Sonia Showalter Snowflake angel, under their glass is a coaster, inside the glass is a money angel from Yoriko. Their names are tucked into the snowflake money/card holder that Yoriko made. All in all I'm pretty pleased with it all! Love Chris
Just beautiful Chris,
Love your choice of colors, that is one that I have not tried yet, maybe next year in my new house.
Lots of work but I am sure everyone will be over the moon,
Have a great one
hugs
Michelle
Beautiful work!
P.S. don't forget to post pictures of your luncheon.
Have a super time!
For dessert we have the famous Newcastle Pudding Lady's Plum Pudding. I'm making those little cornflake meringues and then Plunger coffee with Baci chocolates and Tea! We have pink champagne and I'm making a beautiful Punch in the morning. Meganne is coming over early to help me with the last minute things! So I hope you can imagine yourself sitting down and eating this wonderful feast - the colours are amazing! I'll certainly take some piccies of all the food before we attack it! Love Chris
hugs
