Maria, the lady I used to stitch for who owned a cute little boutique liked for me to sign my work as it made it one of a kind. It just caught on and when I don't sign my things. they say "You for to sign it". I just used my software to type up several katydid's and made a folder in my machine and sent them to my machine. If you don't have software you can still use your machine to bring up a name and save it and at the end of stitching a design click on add a design and choose the one you saved. I don't know your machine , but most have that feature , I think. Kay
