Did not need a pincushion at all, but could not resist making one. Material is upholstery fabric. It embroiders well so I think I'll make a cover for a footstool next.

Yes, I did. I resized the design file (not the embroidery file) I used in the heart ornament to about half the size and added and rotated 3 times. It stitched out equally well.
