I just took a look and I like your modification better. Came out really cute and colorful with the fabric mane. Is the blue fleece or felt?

The blue is a patchworkfabric. But the eyes is in felt. Under the blue fabric i used an IKEA blanket (the cheap one) and then normal stiffing
what a good idea to use a less expensive blanket for stuffing!
