Thanks Soozie, I've just read the post from Amy and she said he was the nicest Santa she has ever met and took time out to explain everything about his reindeers to Ophelie. Amy said she'll remember it forever! Love Chris
It's so nice when 'Santa' really gets into his character.

Poor thing. She is definitely not enjoying this even if it makes for a great picture for her later years.

Oh my heart goes out to little Delphi. Our daughter Jennifer, would never go up to Santa. Her daughter Holly was the same until she was about 8.
Love picture of the girls. You will have to show this to Delphi in a few years.Hugs Lynn

Hi Lynn, yes, she was a bit distraught! I think Amy's got one somewhere of Ophelie doing the same thing! Love Chris

As we have a few similar photos, I guess this happens, no matter what part of the world you're from. Ophelie looks so happy and calm, while Delphi.............-lol- I like how you said he talked to Ophelie, makes it seem so real to her. Remember how I loved that photo a few years back with Avery and Santa ? Santa was so caring and sweet with her. Merry Christmas to you and yours-Toogie

Yes, I remember that picture - it pulled at my heart! She is such a beautiful child. God bless you too Toogie, love Chris
Thank you Chris, I just wanted to say,I just noticed the year at the top of the photo. That will be good in years to come. I had forgotten what year this photo was taken of Avery and Santa.

This is Avery, Toogie's grand-daughter with Santa in 2011 - had to put this picture in as I think it's one of the loveliest portraits of what LOVE is all about. Love Chris

Oh Chris, this brought tears to my eyes, seeing this again. I thought this was a gentle, genuinely caring, man. He was so good with her. Sometimes, even grownups are uncomfortable with her, but not this man...Thanks for digging this up-Love-Toogie
That is just the most beautiful picture I have ever seen. It is all about LOVE And Avery is definately showing her love for Santa. Thanks for posting this, Chris. Hugs Lynn/
ps. Can you believe how old she will be New Years eve? Nine !!! It still doesn't seem real to me.-lol
* and hugs for you both!
Isn't this just beautiful? So glad the date was on there, I went trolling through all the pages till I found it! Love Chris
Sweet and so beautiful...
This is the embodiment of the spirit of Christmas...so very moving. God Bless this Santa. Avery looks like she's home.

Love this pic - I got my picture done with Santa a couple of days ago - to show my 2 year old Granddaughter how kind he was and how I wasn't scared of him. Regardless, I think though - she will have the same reaction as Delphi - just a tiny bit shy! Hugs, Laura*

Poor little mite! What is there about Santa that scares these little munchkins? Polar opposites in the picture, too cute.

I don't know Leaha, it's not like the children haven't seen facial hair before. My husband Trevor has a goatee and moustache and has had so for years! Maybe next year she won't be so bad! Love Chris
My husband has a full beard that is white and the kids at church are terrified of him one little boy in particular! It's nice to live with Santa, as I have the inside track!

I think Amy was standing just to the right of this picture as you can see Delphi looking toward her, basically pleading with her to "Get me outta here!" Love Chris

Thanks Gerry, I agree with you. Today on our local radio station people have been ringing in about children sitting on Santa's lap. They (the minority) feel as though children shouldn't be sitting on a strange man's lap, especially as they are all taught about stranger danger in pre-school. The majority of callers thought 'political correctness' has gone a bit too far! All of the Santas have to be vetted, police checked and interviewed for the job. Love Chris
