After seeing Sandy's magnificent floral arrangements, I said I'd put up a picture of Amy's that she did on Sunday at a workshop. Ours are mostly Australian natives of course. Love Chris

I wish! This beautiful wreath is Amy's. When I dropped off Ophelie and Delphi I saw it - it's huge. Steve is going to display it on an old piece of wood and place it above their bed. It will look fabulous. I'm yet to make one! Love Chris

I would like to have some of your native Australian floral for an arrangement. This is beautiful. I love all things of nature.

Hi Cymblene, they are different aren't they. I've noticed that a lot of our native flowers are similar to those of South Africa. Love Chris

Love it! What is the base, we use grapevine here, however the larger stock pictured here would work so much better (in my opinion). thanks for sharing it! I love that there is different greens!

The base is some sort of wood, I'll find out for you. Our native greenery is quite different to other countries, more sage green. I've just rung Amy (5.22pm Thursday afternoon as I write this) to find out what wood was used. Love Chris

Another beauty, I so miss doing all the Christmas decor which use to take me weeks, right now I have not even had time to put anything up,
can Christmas be delayed a week?

wow you had a lovely display & I remember it too. But life gets in the way sometimes so call in re-enforcements that can help you out.

Yes please, we are all running out of time! I'm so impressed by Sandy's displays too. I love anything like that and I know it's not too difficult to do, but you need time and of course all the right ingredients etc. Love Chris

That is just beautiful. Maybe a new career for Amy, I'm sure they would be a big hit. The gift for someone who has everything.

She would be good at doing things like this. At the moment her book-keeping business is keeping her really busy, plus having the 2 little girls! Ophelie is a big help to her and gets things for Delphi. Love Chris

Yes Loralye, it's a particular species called Eucalyptus Gunnii - you can get them in a silvery coloured foliage too. The little yellow balls are 'Billy buttons' (Craspedia) another native flower. I can't think of the centre flower, sorry. There are gumnuts in there as well. Love Chris

This is lovely Chris. We have very little that is still green around. the; cold has turned everything brown except for pines, firs, cedars and holly/Lillian

Everything is green here at the moment, we've had an unusually wet beginning for summer (December 1st is the beginning of summer downunder!) Love Chris
