can anyone tell me which is the proper way to do a monogram? With the last name initial in the middle?

Yes, with the last name initial in the middle ( a little larger than the other two). Hugs, Laura*

Last name initial in the middle ONLY if it is bigger than first and middle, otherwise, when all the same size, it's assumed to be a first-middle-last monogram.

first LAST middle for an individual

Couples, I prefer Her first name- Last- His first name

Check out the links, has things I'd not hear of (British royals using two letter her first his first ..)

So 2 first or middle or last names? Some people stack if it's first or middle. If it's last they still put both initials in the middle and larger than the rest of the letters.

I made the bag & just put all 4 of them the same size so I think it will be ok but thank you for replying I appreciate the support. ~hugs~
