Most of you know that I have a Yorkie named Bruiizer whom I love very much. Well he eats the same brand of dog food every day & has for the last 9 years. When we saw the tub getting low hubs went to the store to buy another bag...............UGH they had none but it was on order......ok ordered Wednesday come in Friday mmm not too bad That was two weeks ago UGH. we did not have enough & we were in a panick so I called my daughter who travelled over an hour to another store near her to buy a bag of different flavour but same company. We are 3 hours away from her. I was stressing out & hubs went out & bought an alternative brand. Bruiizer did not do well @ all with this "new brand" He was lethargic & had digestive issues & he looked so sad he didn't play or greet me @ the door. Then the Pet food store called to say they were not sure they would get in any for some time to come! So I searched for the closet place to see if I could find one on line & it was far. So I found a comment section & got the email & emailed them last Thursday (the two week mark) 48 hrs response time so they said? Sat I had heard nothing so tried again Sunday got a reply they would look into it then Monday a new reply that my email went to the wrong dept? Tuesday Got another reply that they were sorry but they were building a new warehouse in Canada & they would make it up us by sending me a free bag.Now normally we buy a 5 pound bag he is after all a Yorkshire so small (well 12 pounds) & that will last him may just about 2.5 months. Today I received an email that the bag has shipped out express & I should receive it tomorrow A THIRTY POUND BAG!

Thank goodness Bruiizer is going to get his favorite food and will again be happy, hope there is a way to keep that much fresh (and eatable) as long as it will last him.

they have expiration dates on them & we keep them in an air tight tub so I hope that will keep it fresh too. I maybe will put half the bag outside to stay cold all winter then it will be fresh in the Spring for him. Thanks I didn't think of that

Seal it up and put it in the freezer in small increments.

Make sure if you are leaving it outside to have it in a airtight container. Dog food is the most favorite food for a lot of critters like rats, mice, raccoon and the like.

I guess he will not run out for awhile. Hope you have a container to keep it fresh.
Glad for your four legged baby that it will get better.
