Hi Cuties, look what I feed for over 2 years now, wild cockatoos. They come everyday, all day long for their sunflower seeds. I buy 5 kg of seed every week for them, and it is worth :) I love them! I thought I should share this with you all. Love, Yoriko

I feed them in a cup, and put the rest in that container.

So lovely. I had a friend who used to feed wild cockatoos and he had dozens come every day at about 4 pm. In the end the Council banned him from feeding them. What a shame. He was so disappointed.

Love the look on their faces Yoriko, it's almost as if they are saying, "Come on, let us in!" They look cute, but gee these Sulphur Crested Cockatoos are destructive. I hope you don't have wooden window frames! Love Chris

talking about destruction, I had a beautiful pawpaw tree, they ruined that, and we have a tree in front of the house, it is now bald, hopefully they will leave the rest of leaves there :)

That is fun. I did the same for a flock of peacocks with grew 5X as big over the years. So do you think one is male and one is female and do they mate for life?

I don't know, anyway, it is a big family, sometimes there are 50 of them around the house, waiting for their turn. :)

Where do you live? I think Australia is a beautiful country for wild animals as well. It's wonderful seeing them in my daily life. Hugs, Yoriko
I live in Cologne/Germany. Australia is still on my wishlist to travel. Hope it will not take too much until I come and visit your country.

I also think they are pretty! You should see they open the crest, they do that when they are scared or upset.

I love your cockatoos, I have one but never seen one that is free. Love birds and have lots of them, but only one cockatoo.

Hi Markus, I wish I had one as a pet. They fly away when I try to touch them.

I love cockatoos Yoriko, Had a pair years ago when 1st hubby was alive. They would each sit on one of my shoulders as i played the piano. they loved it and I loved them. Had to find them another home as hubby was in hospitals 2 months and I stayed with him day and night. /Lillian
