I have just been watching the news. I want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Sydney Australia.

Much love & Hugs to our Aussie friends and sisters.

If we forge a pray chain maybe we can bring the world back to reality. Bless all the people involved and give them courage and intellect to handle this situation.

I live here in Australia and had not idea this siege was happening. Have had a look at the TV News, three people have escaped or been let out. They have no idea how many hostages are still in the café. Marg

It is a very terrifying time to be in the city right now, I am very thankful my eldest daughter doesn't work in there on Mondays but fearful for all the other Mothers and Fathers and extended families of the hostages waiting for the outcome we all are praying for..

It's 9.23 pm now & still ongoing. There have been 5 people who got out so far & they are saying it could last for days yet. I live in the out back as a lot of you know but am originally from Sydney, really scary stuff.........
