Bet you still have to patch up the old ones and have to make new patches for the new ones.
He will want to go back to the nursing home showing off his patches and telling everyone how clever his Sister is.

I'm so glad you are able to bring him home for Christmas. I agree with babash. You will probably be patching the comfy old pants and sending him home with the new pants.

Glad to hear your brother will be enjoying family at Christmas. Great patches put them on new ones and make one for old hound dog Donnie for the old ones. I bet he still wears the old ones. My hubby says they are just getting broke in about the time I see thin and ready to show the holes. So when he gets new ones they stay in closet till the holey ones need help. I then say one or two patches then I don't doctor on them anymore I swipe them for the good parts.
