Still fooling with fast quilt idea .This one was called 10 minute quilt tops,and once all the squares are cut you could do it fast .I don't like the color of all 4 blocks the same but that would be an easy fix.I like the middle you could make these windows or do fancy stitches .I saw a 5 minute quilt might just try that one to lol

I think this is a more difficult block to do because you are working with bias edges that are hard to control. It is good that you do test blocks before deciding. I usually skip testing and I could benefit from doing tests first like you do. Those fabrics are a good match!

Thanks for showing this one Carolyn, you have solved a question the girls in my family have had for a long time, my mother (who has passed away) made a quilt with this block and would not tell us how she did it, she tormented us girls with it :) until know we couldn`t work it out, I think I will make a lap quilt using this method and hen show my sisters, they will be amazed,..... do you think I should tell them how to do them or torment them like mum ? hehehe
