Platz für 88 Rollen a 1.000 Meter.

Instructions for Thread Holder
1 strip of wood 60 cm long x 8 cm thick
10 wooden slats 40 cm x 4,5 cm (diameter of the thread spools)
Wooden dowels 1cm in diameter,
Into the main wooden strip saw 10 x with a 30 degree angle a slot the width of the slats
On the 40 cm wide strips of wood, mark the center as well as a cm on each side
Divide the rest into four parts, and mark the center on each.
Last drill 1 cm holes for wood dowel in the center of slats. (Width 4.5cm, half at 2.25 cm)
Push wooden dowels into holes using wood glue and secure with wood
For smaller roles you can also use Aschrauben (Do not know the name for that in English) or nails.
Beautiful Christmas & Happy New Year:-))

This is the translation to the best of my knowledge.

Comment from bemara
I purposely made it only 40 cm wide, so the thread holder would fit onto a door which one can close when not in use.
