I am up and running, folks!! Jim just got off phone with Melco.....our dongle driver did not install, so you Melco users, if you ever get OS Lite when you open your software, instead of OS Lite SE, that means your dongle isn't being recognized........sadly, we could not find info on our problem anywhere, nothing on our computer or Melco stuff told us about this, so just a heads up to the Melco family........am testing now and it sounds so sweet!!!

I'm glad Jim was able to find out what was wrong. Such a frustrating time of it though. Enjoy that sweet sound of the machine stitching a new design.

I'm so glad you have things running nicely again. It must have been so frustrating! My (simple) Melco EP4 works on a flash drive as well as on a direct link to the computer - so I did not have to buy the Melco software, w hich I found rather expensive as an extra next to my 6D Premium and Embird. Still dreaming of the Bravo though.

We didn't buy the digi software either as I have spent so much on the Bernina software and upgrades and the Melco does a great job with art format......do you have to run os, Martine? That is where it said OS Lite and it should have said OS SE.....would be nice if dealers tell their people that, such a simple fix, just unplugged and plugged in the dongle again and it loaded the driver for it...
