I think the timing may be off.when that happens the needle doesn't strike right and it could break.

Many times it is the thread that gets stuck and pulls hard instead of breaking which in turn pulls needle and needle stamps on pressure feet leading to break. Especially when using metallic or polyester thread. Use thread nets and reduce machine speed.

Secondly check that your needle threader bar part is not touching needle bar.

If there was any record in needle breaks I would have definately won!

I'd first of all check that the bobbin is in the right way up, sometimes that causes the thread to break and may move the needle. Also check the threading of the top thread. I sometimes use Brother thread which has a nick on the bottom of the reel and often it gets caught and the next thing I know the needle has shifted and sometimes snapped. I also agree with Bev the timing could be off. Turn off the machine and restart it to see if it helps. Other than that maybe a visit to the sewing machine doctor! this happened to me recently , as I am a new comer to machine embroidery I don't know if my input will help, when it happened to me I turned everything off, it still broke the needle, I then removed and replace the bobbin, still needle broke, then I checked the needle, it was not quite in far enough, needle hasn't broke since. (touch wood)

This happened to me with my last machine and it was a problem with the bobbin housing. Hope you come right soon. Take all apart and give a good clean.

Thread stuck somewhere in the threading can do that. Pulls needle to one side when it gets real tight. I am having fraying problems at the moment. Must change needle!!
Make sure that the foot is up when you thread the machine.
And the needle is in the correct position
and the bobbin is in the correct way.
and it is the correct sort of bobbin.
Do not use another brand of bobbin other than your machines.
Those are the causes of our problem that I have found over time.

Are you sure you are using the correct bobbin? The photo looks just like the bobbin area of my Brother PE 770, and my machine uses clear plastic bobbins, not metal class-15 bobbins. If it's a Brother machine, maybe try a Brother bobbin and see if that helps. Hope you solve the problem soon. It is very frustrating when our machines won't do what we expect them to.

2, du darfst nur Kunststoff Spulen der richtigen Größe nutzen 7/16 Zoll !
3. arbeitest du mit kleinen Garnspulen oder Große? Vergiss nicht die Garnrollenkappe oder den extra großen Garnhalter!! Wenn das Garn zu stramm gespannt ist bricht auch die Nadel!
4. Wenn du die Maschine ausstellst und wieder anstellst kallibriert sie sich automatisch wieder richtig!
