Update on Ronald -My husband. Last week the doctor came at our house and gave "Diazepam" - sort of valium to take away the pain and to take away the tension in the muscles. Since it was near Christmas, we could not reach the specialist to ask for advise. And to go to the hospital was according to the doctor no good option, 'cos the specialist was not there, and they could do nothing more like us now, with the Diazepam. So Ronald slept a lot (we did not celebrate Christmas) and during the week has less pain. Now we are trying since yesterday to reach the specialist, but with no luck. Which of course drives me crazy. As an IT-specialist we need to be always on StandBy, but those doctors not. So after one week we still know nothing more than before. It is ok that he has less pain, but I want to know what's wrong, and start a treatement. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers. Linda

I'm so glad he is in less pain. He is and will continue to be in prayers. I to shall pray that you can get a hold of the specialist in the very near future. My husband worked for a company and was on 'call' as they put it 24/7. Bless both of you. btw...thanks for all the birthdays you list.

You both continue to be in my prayers. Can your regular doctor help to contact a specialist for you? It must be so frustrating. I am happy though that your hubby is having some relief from his pain. I hope he gets to see a specialist soon!! Keep us updated - hugs to both of you, Laura*

I still have the two of you on my prayer list. I'm glad the Diazepan helped, but know it had to have been a very tough Christmas for the two of you because he slept a lot. Thanks for the update and please keep giving us updates so we know what to pray for you both.

Linda, know what you are going through. My husband is also in a lot of pain. The pain specialist put him on a new drug that was developed by the CSIRO here in Australia. It is great he receives pain relief and doesn't spend all day sleeping as a result of the pain killer. Will try to find out the name for you. It may not suit his condition.

Oh, Linda, I'm so sorry that he is only being able to sleep, but I guess that is better than being in pain; for him at least. You are still on my prayer list. I know you must be getting desperate.

You are both in my prayers and thoughts that your husband's doctors will soon be able to diagnose and hopefully find a solution that will result in the best possible outcome for your husband and that you can keep reaching out for all the support you need.

Linda I am sorry that Christmas went this way. I can understand your frustration wanting to know what causes your husbands pain so treatment could get started. I will keep both of you in my prayers. I am glad that at least the medicine is helping Ronald with the pain even if it makes him sleepy.

Linda, my prayers for your husband , but for you too. It must be so hard not to know what is the cause of his pain. Hope you soon will hear something from the doctors!
Sorry Christmas was not the way you hoped for. Good thing he has less pain, hope you can have a good New Year's eve. And hope 2015 will be a better year to come. Hang in there my friend. hugs for you, and prayers for you both .
