I need help with this design, please instruct me how to do what I need. I picked this up FREE at embroideryshristi.com. Can you see my problem in the photo? It has all this blank area included in the design, when I click on to center it, making the design area way larger and I can't stitch. How do I get rid of the blank space so I can make the design fit ? The file says 'Large Decor Shristi'. Even if someone could help by contacting Shristi with this problem, I would appreciate it, since I am not sure how. It is a very pretty design. Thank you in advance for any help you may offer, I appreciate it.-Toogie....ps.Does problems like this go in Digitizing or in Embroidery? I do hope I did it right.

If you have software that allows you to split a design, that is what I would do.
You will get the best help here in Digitizing. Although you might get more answers in Embroidery. Either place is OK for this post.
I hope you get the information you need to use the file.

I have the design too, reduced it with embird, this is how it looks now in a 8x8 hoop, With embird you can reduce with change the density. I can do this for you if you give me your hoop size and format, send me a PM.

elemausi, I'm sure you didn't know, but it is illegal to send designs by email IF you aren't the designer.

Hi Toogie..I just went and downloaded this design...if you are using the .Pes file, I can see the problem...try using the .Jef format which is a size of 203mm x 228mm...I reduced the .Jef file to 199mm x 224mm so I can sew it in one hooping...just a tiny bit of difference in the original size...hardly noticeable at all...If you want to stitch in the original size, you can rotate it a bit to fit into the 8x12 hoop...it will work....but you will want to print a template so you can hoop your fabric correctly...hope this helps...if you still have questions, let me know...

I just downloaded this design and it has been fixed. Anyone with a 'bad' design should download it again.
