Fabric/pattern weights.....i made these for myself and two friends we get together once to "have a chat and exchange ideas" the printed fabric is the back of the weights they are filled with a pouch dry rice and glass pebbles...soozie

in used the glass flat beads because i had them already. lead or iron would be good even sand in a

Have thought about making fabric weights and after seeing yours mine may become a reality! I have never used fabric weights but I think they would be much better than poking holes in the fabric with pins. I like the idea of using glass beads because I bought tons of them for another "good intention" project that hasn't materialized yet ;-) Thanks for posting your fun fabric weights!

thank you bernadette i wish i had some lead or iron weights i tried o buy some but they are so expensive so i used what i had flat glass beads that are used in the bottom of a vase to arrange flowers...soozie

Using the rice give you a 2 for 1. When your not using them a weights you can use them as a hot pack by putting them in the microwave for a minute or so.... They feel wonderful when your hurting or aching... I make them for myself just make them longer... Love the designs.
