Merry Christmas (•"Kristos Razdayetsya," which means "Christ is born." ) to all who celebrate on the 7th. Christmas was/is a bit of a downer for our family this year. We lost my father-in-law a year ago, a nephew in a serious car accident this summer and my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer and had surgery just before Christmas this year. We had been hoping to celebrate on the 7th with my mother-in-law (who has always celebrated Ukrainian Christmas), but my hubby isn't progressing as well as he should be, so Christmas may be around Easter for us. We find out in a couple of weeks if he needs Chemo or radiation (we know the cancer spread to the lymph nodes), so that is now praying on his mind. Oh well, 2015 WILL be better! We will survive and go on to enjoy our old age!!
