A set of coasters for our neighbors, both are singer in the opera. Only a small gift for the New Years visit.

This is one of the minutecoasters from sanfranciscostitch.
Allways a great design to make quick gifts.

Thanks, it had to be a small gift only, because I don`t like if the others are under an obligation, they have not enough time to make things by them self and I had to decorate only the wine bottle.

These look great! I have done a couple of the minute coasters, but got all the messy looking edges when I did it with tear away. What did you use? I love the coaster, but not the look after they are finished. And if you use WSS, you have to soak & soak them so there's none to make a slimmy mess when you get them wet while using.

I use WSS, but don´t follow the instructions. I put the sandwich (top, batting and back)all over the stabilizer, so I can wash it better out. This time I have added some felt, you can see the darker orange, because they have a table off glas.

Thanks! I will try that!

I am a coaster queen and slide them beneath everyone's glass. Maybe if I made some extra fancy ones like yours I wouldn't have to remind people to use them! Super sweet gift idea and very thoughtful.

Danke Maria, das musste wirklich ein schnelles Geschenk werden, die Einladung über den Gartenzaun kam 2 Stunden vorher und ich wollte die Flasche Wein nicht undekoriert mitbringen.
