I had joined so many of you with machines and computers being naughty. My computer that has all and I mean ALL of my precious designs became very sick as my husband said. So he has been spending the last couple of weeks wiping it clean and is now restoring everything. Thanks goodness I have backed up my favorite digitizers and also have Carbonite. Lesson learned. I will now back up even the free designs on a thumb drive to be safe. A big hug and thank you to my handsome hubby for his many hours of work. I know I can never have too may back ups for my designs. Good thing I had loaded several designs so I could make a year's worth of bookmarks before this happened. There are two things I never want to be without: my battery back-up systems to protect my machines and my thumbdrives and external hard drives to back up my designs.

I am glad you had a backup. Too many do not do this very important thing.
A rule in the IT industry is to have all data you want to keep in 3 locations. If not, you will not have your data when you need it.

Good to have a hubby to help you. My very good friend had an external hard drive to crash and wonder if others know how to back up a 2T external hard drive. Do you buy another one and copy to it? Kay

And a stash of stitched out bookmarks? Hehehe. Machine problems are SO stressful.
