Today we are off to fare well a dear friend. He passed away on New Years Day. He will be so sadly missed in our Country Music Circle. Hubby and I will be joining in a guard of honour for him.

I will be enclosing a Angel in the card I give to his wife.
My niece just sent some photos of the Guard Of Honour with us all holding our guitars. There were a lot more than this after this photo was taken. I guess at least 40 guitars.

I am so sorry. It is so hard to say good bye to good friends. I know the angel will mean a great deal to his wife.

The service was just so lovely. His daughter was up at 2 in the morning and wrote the most beautiful poem about her father. She stood and read it to I guess 400 or more people in the church. The guard of honour was really wonderful. I would say about 40 of us standing holding guitars as they carried the coffin to the burial position. I will put a photo up when my niece emails the photos to me. Thanks for all your prayers.

So sorry for the "comrad" you have lost. The angel you sent will always remind his daughter you cared and he was special to you/Lillian

I have added a photo of the Guard of Honour. Sorry it is a bit blurry. I did not take it. My Sister in Law did. She usually takes better photos.
