I made some pattern weights for my daughter. She makes bags for a living so I chose these bag designs from Artistic Threadsworks. I filled them with plastic stuffing beads, hopefully they'll be heavy enough. I put a hanger on them so she can put them on her pegboard when not in use.

Clever idea. I had a small pattern piece on the table yesterday and the aircon kept blowing it off. Would have saved my back.

I used plastic stuffing beads, for dolls and stuff. I hope they are heavy enough.

Like the decoration you have embroidered, mine are only blank. What do you use for the stuffing?

I really must make some pattern weights. I have plenty of cute designs. Your daughter is obviously very talented since she makes bags for a living. It is obvious that you were a great teacher of creating great things with your hands ;-)
