Look at the temperature!! Don't go outside, you'll freeze to death. ;-) Good idea to stay inside and sew!

Once you add the applique flowers Carolyn, it will look like a vase full of Spring blooms. It will keep you occupied for at least, oh! let me guess, a couple of hours! he he he! Knowing you you'll have it done by tomorrow! Only kidding! I think the flowers will look gorgeous and it's another style of doing patchwork. Good luck with it, love Chris

(P.S. Keep warm, those temps you are experiencing are amazing!)

Oh Carolyn, if I am reading this correctly, its minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 30 degrees Celsius , you poor lady!. I think I would have to pack up my family (grown kids too-lol) and move to a warmer climate!! I really don't know how you stand it....Anxious to see how you fill your basket.

So Bring on the flowers the blue adds to the color of icy. Your snow and cold is spreading. Even our dog does her cha cha outside fast around here today. We are 0 f and wind chill has the feel of 18 below.

Oh my goodness! I got kind of stuck looking at the horrid temperature gauge! And to think that I am complaining that our night time temp is going to be in the teens. You probably should hurry up with the quilt and send it to me. I don't like cold weather at all and I do think your lovely blue quilt would keep me warm. I think it is lovely!
