This was fun on this nasty cold day. I did this rose for someone back several months ago. I made mat my first time doing a dresden pattern it is 40 inches.I thought it would work for my idea of Valentines day. February's birthstone is Amethyst and flower for Feb is violets. Purple is just perfect love month color don't you think?

I sooo love these colours, I didn't know that Violets were Febs flower as I love them too, wonder if there is violets available anywhere for our machines, must start looking, you have done a lovely job with this design

Thank you. I have few family members with Feb birthdays and that is how I knew the flower and purple birthstone.
found some violets, they are in embroidery Library, now what to do with them !!!!

No it is not same on back I padded with batting and made a light purple cotton backing. Thanks for dropping by.
