I made this quilt for my teenage grandson for Christmas. It was the first time I attempted to quilt a queen-sized quilt on my Viking Ruby, and it was quite a challenge. I'm pleased with the end result, though, and my grandson seemed to really like it, too.

It is a beautiful quilt! Did you quilt in the hoop or use free motion quilting. In either case handling such large quilt must hsve been a bit of a challenge.

I used an embroidery quilting motif in each square and them free motion quilted the borders. You can't tell from the pictures, but the black border is stippled.
