I picked up Vicki's design ages ago to make a cover for my ereader. I finally made it.
I made this using info from these two sites, no pattern, guessing as I went. Not totally happy with it, but it works :)

I found the fabric in clearance, no name on the bolt, heavy cotton, had a weave look to it. I think the weight is similar to outdoor fabric without the uv protection.
