Thank you all for your lovely comments. Charlotte has wanted to paint something on this rather large wall for some time. The idea came to her when she was reading the twins a fairy story and a similar tree was in the book. The original tree was going to have branches right over the ceiling but she thought it would be too dark. Flowers for all.

Looks fantastic. Did she paint the tree herself? Looks so life like love the way it just touches the ceiling anymore and it would be spoiled.

She first drew the tree and then painted it with poster paint. She is very artistic, making silver jewelry, pottery and always has a painting on the go. At 45 years old she is now learning to sew!!! I forgot to mention she has a full time job as well
