I made a few reversible fleece blankets for Christmas & they went over very well, so well in fact that the men have taken the daughter's blankets lol. I guess I will have to make some for them too for next Christmas lol. I decided it was time that I made one for myself so this one is for me. It is back breaking work as I cut the strips on the floor, no other place big enough to support the whole thing & if is shifts you are in a pickle. It is really warm & all these minus temps we are having it will be perfect to keep me warm. I just love this pink fleece! It seams to go with everything!

Beautiful blanket and I'll bet it has the highest snuggle rating of all. You will share with hubby right?

Do you have a dinning table big enough to cut the edges? I use mine for everything; not so hard on the back.
These look so warm and cozy.
How did you put these together?

Thanks Loosie it sure is warm & cozy! As for the dining-room table I don't think it is wide enough but will see if I can for the next one, thanks. ~hugs~

Hi Loralye, is the the blanket that you tie the strips together? Do you have a sewing line first and then cut the strips etc. etc. etc? Love Chris

yes & no I cut the strips & tie the knot but no sewing @ all. I use rulers to mark the line 3 inches from the bottom & another ruler to mark an inch apart. Thanks Chris they are exceptionally warm with the double fleece. ~hugs~

June Tailor has a ruler with the slits cut out, so all you have to do is put your rotary cutter in the slit and cut. So much easier, on time and back.

This blancet looks very snuggly, like the "woman" and "man" color, one for you, the other day one for hubby ;-)

Yes we seldom make things for ourselves & when we do we often end up giving that a way too. I hope to keep mine Thanks Marian ~hugs~

You've done a lovely job. I have found that the men seem to like plaids with a solid if you do some for them. /Lillian
