I don't get a chance to share pics of Cassi, she usually runs if I aim it at her......she is the one that we have gotten bit (pretty badly) when we try to cut her nails...she needs to build up her confidence as she frightens way easier than her sisters.......she loves to lay behind me when I am at my desk and if you look really close you can see she is shredding it......I reach back and touch her paws often and she has gotten used to that, but when I get the cippers in my hand se is terrified!

I would give her a hug, Karen, but that scares the crap out of her when I pick her up........she is quite content to sit behind me on the chair and let me pet her behind me........

Don't think I would be happy either if anyone came towards me with clippers either. I have never tried or had to clip our cats claws. Cassi is a beauty.

I use to wrap my cat in a baby blanket and take one paw out at a time to cut them. Maybe that will help.

She is so strong when frightened that it is like trying to hold a tiger, I don't think she would let me near her with a blanket or towel..........

We have been so fortunate, she is the first one we have not been able to do, but Jim & I both got injured in November when we tried and I still have a thick scar where I was bit...Jim couldn't bend his finger for about 6 weeks.........

She loves you Mom, She says "instead of cutting my nails, get me a scratching post, then I may leave you chair alone" also a cushion on the chair saves it. Love Maureen

Chair cushion is a must, we have dozens of scratching posts around the house and incorporated in their cat trees....she, however, prefers to stick around my office, and that is the only room that doesn't have one, so maybe that is what I need to do........
