Hi all! I have a Brother pe-770, and I was wondering if I could use a hoop larger than a 5x7 on it. I have the hoop already but not sure what size it is. I also use StitchBuddy which will not let me save projects that go beyond a 5x7 hoop. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Click on the first link for more information about the machine and the accessories including hoops you can use with your machine. The second link is to the larger hoop and it briefly explains how to use it.

You could try the free version of Embrilliance or Wilcom has free software too.

Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay. Have you checked your manual? I have a Brother 1250D, my manual shows the hoops I have or can use. Also my machine will not allow me to read anything bigger than it is designed for. Maybe your is the same way. Hope this is of some help, if not some one who has the machine will soon be along.

From what I understand, the machine can use a bigger hoop but only to expand your design so you don't have to re-hoop. Doesn't look like the machine will take a larger design.
