I have a question. Can you tell me the best thing to use to clean off the sticky adhesive spray from my hoop?

I know there are commercial cleaners but I just let mine soak in warm water with a little dish detergent. I then use the scrub part of a sponge to clean off the residue and have sparkling clean hoops with little effort.

Exactly what I do Karen. Works better than any other product I have tried

I rub a little peanut butter on the really sticky areas then clean it real good with Dawn dish washing soap to get all the oils off.

I have used an aerosol cleaner from my dealer...it worked, but it was expensive...now I use GooGone in a spray bottle from WalMart...it works great, less mess than the aerosol...and it's only about $3.50 for a 16 oz. bottle...goes a long way...lay down an old towel, spritz, let sit for about a minute..wipes right off...I also keep baby wipes handy for little quick stickies...

An old tooth brush, liquid soap and warm mater work perfectly for me.

The lady at the sewing machine told me that she uses cheap aftershave. I use Goo Gone or Goof Off. Both work, it depends which I have on hand.
