To reduce my stash, most notably my swatches, I sewed purses. The swatches are only small, so I had to combine. I use this purses for small gifts, to put cosmetics or sweets inside.

2. pic shows inside out, sorry had to turn the edge better

I remember you posting all the fabrics from the store closing. Excellent way to use up those pieces, pretty and functional.

These are really nice. And a number of them together look even nicer.
I might follow your example but I'd make them for various power cords. Yesterday I tried to insert the cord of my battery charger into my external hard drive and was wondering why it no longer fitted. Marked pouches would be a solution.

Thank you, I made the purses the traditional way. After adding the zipper I made it with only two seams as shown in the link.

These are very nice little purses. I have been trying for a long time to use a stash of fabric like this. It is still smiling at me and I have made a quilt, book covers, bags. I may have put a tiny dent in it. It is great to make gifts and have them on hand.

Wunderschön - auch eine tolle Idee, persönliche Geschenke auf
Vorrat! Noch ein guter Vorsatz für 2015, denn ich bin meistens zu
spät bzw. die Geburtstage sind schneller "da" , als von mir erwartet :-)
Danke - Maria
